Chanting & Prayers

We hold monthly offering ceremonies (pūjās) for Medicine Buddha, Mahākāla, North Star Bodhisattva, Mahākāla and Vaiśravaṇa Dharma Protectors. To be make dedications for these events please fill out this form with your information. Making offerings ceremonies is a way to pool efforts and practice together and create good affinities with others and the enlightened beings through a shared intention. Offering our heartfelt prayers is not that they will be answered without effort but that we can receive the spiritual inspiration and courage to change our conditions and create virtuous causes out in the world. Ceremonies are a joyful expression gratitude and a desire to transform our own minds through a life of Dharma wisdom.

Annual Lights

If you’d like to sponsor candles for a year of pujas or permanent altar lights for one of the altars you are welcome to fill out this form. Lights are one of the important types of offerings in Buddhist services representing the dispelling of ignorance and the illumination of wisdom that understands reality clearly. In offering lights we clear obstacles to our wisdom and mental clarity and create the causes to have clear discernment.

Heart Sūtra Copying

We are aiming to collect 100,000 handwritten copies of the Heart Sūtra and dedicate the merit towards the establishment of a practice space and community. If you wish to contribute, please join the Facebook group or find information on the practice here.
