Volunteering & Support

We are in the process of becoming a 501(c)3 non profit. In the tradition of Shakyamuni Buddha, and following monastic code of ethics, we offer all practices, education, support, and events freely.

Buddhist communities continue to exist and benefit due to broad and deep networks of collaboration and mutual support. This is expressed in many way- from showing up to practice together, offering teaching and advice, sharing texts & materials, providing food & shelter, maintaining public practice spaces and more. These connections allow us to engage in and share the dharma- rooting it in our local communities.

If you are interested in being a sponsor this can be done toward with the Vihara for general or specific purposes: the Buddha (e.g. permanent land/building, statues, lamps, offerings for pujas, altar and temple items), the Dharma (e.g. text printing, books, educational programs), or Sangha (e.g. meals, clothing, medicine, travel expenses of Sangha).

Volunteer efforts can be made through sharing skills, labor, or expertise either in person or online. We also appreciate any dedications of practice towards the project becoming a reality.
